About Cath
Cath has worked in the veterinary industry for over 3 decades and during that time has developed a passion for driving continuous quality improvement to deliver excellent client service within sustainable veterinary businesses.
Cath began her career in equine practice during the late 1990’s as a junior secretary (anyone remember typewriters?!) and progressed steadily through practice and business management roles in both equine and small animal practice. Cath loves education, and has developed herself along the way by studying part-time for a first degree, Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and, more recently, the Diploma in Veterinary Leadership and Management (DVLM), specialising in Finance. This ILM accredited veterinary-specific leadership qualification is run by the Veterinary Management Group (VMG), with whom Cath has a long association having served on the VMG Board, as Finance Director, for several years.
Outside of work Cath enjoys time with her family and horse, loves dancing and football, is a Rambler, sometime runner, Samaritans listener and a very friendly, sociable person so please do ping her to get a coffee or make up a quiz team!
