Smith writes about various research subjects including: the Cotton Library Galba manuscripts and Edward Edward’s catalogue; Emperors Frederick; Harley manuscripts 5086 and 6398, the ‘Boke of Medycin’ and ‘Boke of Marchalsi’. Smith also mentions that he has completed the first part of his ‘Early History of Veterinary Literature’, but is not happy with it.
