In 2019, Louise Northway, RVN, was recognised as a Knowledge Award Champion for her wide-ranging project to improve the quality of care when using anaesthetics. Lou carried out clinical audits, set and reviewed protocols based on evidence, and instigated the adoption of Quality Improvement techniques by her whole team.
