Handwashing audit

In 2019 Vets Now Glasgow was a Highly Commended runner-up in the RCVS Knowledge Awards for its clinical audit on handwashing. The team wanted to find out how many of the clinical staff at the hospital were complying with handwashing guidelines, and began collecting data. They found that the initial results hit their target of 75% compliance, but put processes in place to improve this further.
