About QI to You
Our QI to You service is tailored to your team’s individual needs and challenges and will give you the opportunity to:
- use real data and feedback from your practice team to make improvements and increase efficiencies
- focus on improving outcomes for your patients
- develop your whole team on QI in practice
- improve team culture.
This service is flexible around you and your practice’s needs, offering one-on-one sessions, online webinars, or in-person visits.
Support sessions are available on Tuesdays, but other dates can be arranged with notice.
How QI to You can help
Booking a QI to You session will provide you with expert guidance on how to:
- measure, review and plan improvements in your practice
- review the effectiveness of your current processes
- encourage team collaboration and nurture the drive for improvement
- celebrate your team’s strengths and view weaker areas as opportunities for improvement
- kickstart a journey of continuous improvement or develop and fire up initiatives that are underway
- be confident in making improvements in the future with ongoing remote support.
Support packages
We offer four different support packages, ranging from a call with our trainer to a whole-day event.
All packages can be re-booked multiple times and ongoing arrangements can be made for repeat bookings. Please ask for details if you are interested in this.

Package 1: support calls
Cost: £70
This package offers remote QI support calls with our QI Clinical Lead, Lou Northway, and one or two members of your team.
It is designed for individuals who have a QI role in practice and would like some support and guidance in leading initiatives.
This package includes:
- Pre-session questionnaire for you to complete so that we can tailor the package to your specific practice requirements.
- One hour phone consultation.
- Personalised quality improvement plan created by Lou Northway, along with a detailed session summary and feedback.
This QI to You support package is designed to take place on Tuesdays, but other days can be arranged if required.
This training is VAT exempt in 2024. However, in 2025, the VAT exemption may change in accordance with updated government requirements.
Package 2 and 3: bespoke webinars
These packages offers a bespoke quality improvement webinars for small and large teams. These sessions are perfect for introducing your team to QI principles while focusing on what is important to your team in your practice.
We offer different packages for small and large teams:
- Package 2: bespoke live webinar for small teams (up to 5 people) – £280
- Package 3: bespoke live webinar for large teams (5-15 people) – £700
These packages include:
- A pre-session questionnaire for you to complete so that we can tailor the package to your specific practice requirements.
- A bespoke live webinar delivered to your team: this can be focused on key areas of practice such as post-op complications, pain scoring, the use of checklists, how to run significant event audit and meetings – or a combination of many areas.
- Remote access: team members can join the live webinar from their devices in practice or from home, together or individually.
- Interactivity: this bespoke webinar is designed to be interactive and will last two hours. This can be held as one session, or split into two one-hour sessions to accommodate your team’s working days.
- A post-session summary including the bespoke elements from your session with feedback, comments and ideas to take forward.
This QI to You support package is designed to take place on Tuesdays, but other days can be arranged if required.
Webinars will not be recorded.

Package 4: whole day session
Cost: price on application
This package offers a bespoke day-long event for your team. Multiple speakers will make up this event. Suitable for teams of over 15 people.
This package includes:
- A pre-visit questionnaire for you to complete so that we can tailor the package to your specific practice requirements.
- A bespoke, QI in a Day event for your team.
- Specialised speakers covering a comprehensive range of topics.
This package can either be held in person, or online.

About the trainer
Lou Northway RVN is QI Clinical Lead at RCVS Knowledge, and has been an advocate for quality improvement since 2017. Lou is keen to help others utilise QI tools to improve outcomes, patient care, communication & culture.
By booking onto this tailored CPD course, you’ll get direct access to Lou’s QI expertise. Lou will work with you to analyse the specific challenges you face in your practice and guide you on how to implement QI techniques.
